The ARTS Model ©
The ARTS Model was developed by Nottinghamshire Early Years Consultant Margaret SImms to originally take an Audit of Research Team Skills. The model can be used to effectively audit the skills of any team, in order to create a resource bank of skills and experience to build and enhance professional relationships between early years practitioners and other professionals who work with young children and families.
Multi-, inter-, intra, joint, partnership working - which ever mode you are working in you will be more successful if you get to know the people behind the posts.
Using the ARTS Model, one of our 'tools of the trade', our experienced consultants offer practical support and advice to help you optimise your workforce practices; whilst staying down to earth and relationship-orientated. The ARTS Model has been created, developed and implemented by ProCEEd Consultancy and we have had articles published on the topic and concept of understanding and applying the ARTS.
ARTS has two implementation methods, both can be used to stimulate Early Years Educators and motivate the workforce. The first is via consultant led workshops and the second way self-implementation which involves taking the steps, established and provided by ProCEEd work through ARTS yourself within your own Childcare setting. Both methods can be highly effective.
