Early Years Foundation Stage Profile

2 January, 2008   (Old - but interesting)

Note

This is one of those places where the fear of change is more scary than the facts.

Having become Foundation Stage Profile experts, Early Years practitioners are now being asked to change over to the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.

The good news is that, at the moment, you can continue to use the Foundation Stage Profile handbook and booklets.

In September The Foundation Stage Profile (FSP) will be called the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP).

Eventually the Foundation Stage Profile handbook will be superseded by the Profile scales booklet from the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).

ProCEEd Task

Of course if life was that easy it would be boring -  so I have left the rest for you!

There is just one task for you to do on this page - and here it is.

Find out everything else you can about the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile so that you can compile a useful document for your newcomers to your setting on how the EYFS affects them.

You will need to consider practitioners, parents and children.
