Bilsthorpe Childcare and Jobs Fair

Plans are afoot for a unique match-making event in Bilsthorpe. The Bilsthorpe Childcare and Jobs Fair aims to help families that need childcare link up with childcare providers and match people looking for work with local job vacancies. In addition this creative project will give local businesses of all kinds the opportunity to promote their goods and services to the public.

Margaret Simms Bilsthorpe Playgroup opening 4 May 1990 Newark Advertiser
It is 20 years since Social Services asked local mum Margaret Simms to establish the acclaimed Bilsthorpe Parent and Toddler Group. Along with a small committee of trusted parents, grandparents and carers Margaret went on to set up Bumps and Babes and a Playgroup to ensure that all families with babies and young children could enjoy childcare services in Bilsthorpe and surrounding areas. Following a long and successful career in Education and Early Years Dr. Margaret Simms is again focussing on helping improving opportunities for local people with the innovative Bilsthorpe Childcare and Jobs Fair.
